it's sooo unfair.
they all gang up to bluff me.
my colleagues, i mean.
was drying the cutlery with weiliang and sijie today.
i noticed weiliang had a ring on his ring finger,
so i asked him about it.
and his reaction was: huh? you don't know meh? i'm married.
of course, i was shocked. cause he is only 23.
i tried to reason things out.
but then again, he's a malaysian.
and i've known malaysians who got married at 16.
he went on saying that his wife is a singaporean and is only 21.
it's even more absurd knowing that singapore women are career-minded,
and would most probably marry at near 30 or maybe older.
21 would mean that she's perhaps still in uni.
his story went on, him having a 1 year old daughter named peishan.
it's ridiculous.
he said sijie had seen his daughter's photo which he kept in his wallet,
and was gonna show me later after work.
sijie, beside us the whole time, went: ya. his daughter very cute.
i was having the i-don't-believe-a-single-word-you-said-look,
so he told me the reason why he marry so early.
it was because he had an "accident" with his girlfriend,
and a new life was born.
thus forced into this marriage.
it seemed believable.
until i went to ask around, and realised nobody knew of this.
and weiliang told me not to spread it to others.
okay, maybe he felt shameful about the accident part.
so i went to confirm with sijie again,
and guess what he said?
"i don't know anything."
thank goodness i'm not working tomorrow morning.
and on wednesday too,
cause it's my grandfather's birthday! hahah.
and i know today and tomorrow are guozhang and yy's birthdays.
so happy birthday! :D
